FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)  –  A Fairfield woman, suspected of stealing from elderly people in Fairfield County, has been arrested after stealing more than $5000 from the home of an elderly client while working as a home health aide.

Police have charged Kris Marsan with larceny 3rd degree in connection with a theft that occurred last September.   During that theft police say Marsan stole jewelry from dresser drawers in addition to the money at a home in Fairfield where a woman hired her to care for her mother that she lived with.

Marsan is also suspected of stealing from other clients taking approximately $100,000 in cash and items from homes where she was hired to work.   In at least one case she was caught on video but she has not been charged with any other thefts at this time.
