1 person injured in Clinton house fire, flown to hospital

CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) — One person was flown to an area hospital after a house fire in Clinton on Saturday morning, fire officials say.

According to authorities, the victim was injured when flames broke out at 4 Spencer Court around 9:30 a.m. That victim’s identity has not been released. His or her condition and the extent of his or her injuries are not known.

Clinton Volunteer Fire Department officials say crews were able to get into the house and put the fire out with help from the Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Essex, Killingworth, Guilford, and Madison Fire Departments.

The fire marshal is investigating the blaze.
