Motorcyclist killed in crash in Hebron

HEBRON, Conn. (WTNH) — A motorcyclist from Amston is dead after crashing minutes from his home Saturday afternoon.

Police say just before 1 p.m., 53-year-old Donald Morin failed to negotiate a right curve on Route 85 near Route 207, hitting a metal guardrail, a sign post, and a utility pole. They say the Rondaly Road man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say no one else was involved in the accident.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
