Man arrested for bringing loaded gun to CT Juvenile Training School

Connecticut Juvenile Training School.

(WTNH)–A New York man has been arrested and charged with trying to bring a gun into the Connecticut Juvenile Training School in Middletown.

Police apprehended the man, identified as Jonathan Burgos, 25, of Brooklyn, NY.

A loaded .380 handgun was recovered at the scene by police. Burgos was placed under arrest and is facing multiple charges, including unauthorized conveyance of a weapon at a correctional institution, and possession of a firearm without a permit. He’s currently being held on a $50,000 surety bond.

The case remains under investigation.
