Car stolen during burglary at Hamden home

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A car was stolen during a burglary at a Hamden home sometime Tuesday morning, police say.

According to authorities, the burglar broke in to the Rolfe Road home through a kitchen window, took the homeowner’s wallet and keys while the residents slept, then stole their 2014 Volkswagen Passat with Connecticut license plates 3AFKVO. They say the burglary happened sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 7 a.m.
