Hartford Police make guns and drugs bust

HARTFORD, Conn.  (WTNH)  –  Hartford Police have seized guns and drugs and arrested two people.

32 year old Ricky Hurt of 67 Oakland Terrace is charged with criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, weapons in a motor vehicle, and interfering with police.  26 year old Tyrell Kelley, also of 67 Oakland Terrace, is charged with possession with intent to sell narcotics, possession with intent to sell narcotics within 1500 feet of  a school and possession of narcotics.

Police say they seized a black M-1911 auto loading pistol .45 caliber with an obliterated serial number, a black Star-SA 9mm firearm and 11 gram of crack cocaine and 3 ounces of marijuana.

According to police on Monday they received information that the two suspect were storing guns and selling illegal narcotics at 67 Oakland Terrace and a search found the drugs and guns inside and also outside in vehicles in the rear yard.
