SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Shelton man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a December 2010 shooting in town, police say.

According to authorities, 34-year-old Maurice Beall fired shots in the area of the 200 block of Howard Avenue on December 19, 2010. They say detectives found a loaded .40-caliber handgun under a bush in the area, and matched DNA found on that gun to Beall.

Beall is charged with criminal possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $75,000.
