Fashion for Traveler’s Golf Championship

WTNH– Ryan and Teresa sit down with Fashion Director of Golf Digest and Connecticut resident, Marty Hackel. With the Traveler’s Championship coming up this week CT Style decided to bring in Marty to discuss the fashion that goes into golfer’s wardrobes. Marty mentions that some golfers have superstitions in the clothing they wear when they play, along with the brand names they are required to wear. Golfers have to wear the brands they are sponsored by and are scripted to what they are going to wear throughout the week by the company that has signed them.

Marty also styles the golfers for the cover of Golfer’s Digest Magazine cover shoots. With such an eye for fashion in golf Marty gives us a breakdown of 2 players fashion wardrobes/playing attire, Kevin Streelman and Sergio Garcia, and with both of them playing this week it was more glance in fashion in this week’s future.

At the end of the segment Ryan challenges Marty to a putting contest in a little thing called “Clubbin with Ryan”.
