300 grams cocaine seized after investigation into sale from Norwalk nightclub

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — More than 300 grams of cocaine were seized in Norwalk on Friday, police say.

According to authorities, warrants were obtained after an investigation into 51-year-old Segunda Alvarado’s sale of cocaine from Area 504, a nightclub on Commerce Street. They say when she and her boyfriend were pulled over Friday, she was in possession of 71 plastic baggies and 11 aluminum folds of cocaine, totaling 46 grams.

Officials say 44-year-old Luis Alonzo Amaya Palma was in possession of 15 plastic baggies of cocaine, totaling seven grams.

A search warrant was then conducted at Alvarado’s Warren Street home, where 263 grams of cocaine were found, according to police. They say 37-year-old Elsides Amaya Palma was in the home while the warrant was served and began to fight, leading to his arrest.

Alvarado and her boyfriend are each charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell. Theirs bonds were set at $250,000.

The younger Amaya Palma is charged with interfering with a search warrant. His bond was set at $5,000.
