Police searching for Andover homicide suspect; victim identified

ANDOVER, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed an Andover man in town Friday night.

State troopers say they found 38-year-old Jason Marchand suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when they were called to Lakeside Drive around 10:10 p.m. They say he was taken to Windham Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to authorities, Marchand was involved in an argument on lake association property around 9:15 p.m. They say the person he was arguing with later returned and shot him before fleeing on a motorcycle.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his twenties and believe he is from Andover. They say he wore a helmet with a face shield and drove a blue and white sport-type motorcycle.
