Two women arrested in New London domestic dispute; one man stabbed

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — Police have arrested two women after responding to a domestic disturbance Saturday on Williams Street in New London where one woman was assaulted and a man was stabbed.

New London Police say at approximately 8:08 pm, they were dispatched to the area of 240 Williams Street. Once there, it was learned that all parties involved were familiar with each other. Further investigation revealed that a female victim had been physically assaulted by two females, and one of the females had stabbed a male victim twice in the chest.

Charged in the assault were the following:

Minera Bell of New London was charged with assault in the second-degree for stabbing the male, assault in the third-degree, and breach of peace. She is being held on $50,000 bond.

Tierra Moore, also of New London was charged with breach of peace. She was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

The male was treated and released from the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.
