SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — An undercover buy-and-bust operation by South Windsor police ended in the arrest of two men and dozens of bags of heroin, according to the East Central Narcotics Task Force.

Acting on a warrant, undercover cops arrested 27-year-old Arian Serrano of East Hartford at 976 Sullivan Avenue at 7PM Thursday.  Also taken into custody was a passenger in Serrano’s car, 28-year-old Ferdinand Robles.  Cops say they seized 50-bags of heroin as part of an earlier undercover operation, and another 50-bags packaged for sale in the Thursday night sting.  Police say there were also two 4-year-old children in the car at the time of the bust, as well as two pit bulls.

At the time of his arrest, Serrano was on probation for previous narcotics violations.  Charges against him include sale and possession of narcotics, and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.  He’s being held on $350,000 bond.  Bond for Robles, who is from Hartford, was set at $100,000 dollars.
