LONG ISLAND SOUND FORECAST- Wind: SW-S 4-12KT Waves: 1′ or less High Tide: 7:50PM-9:45AM

Today: Hot sunshine with moderate-high humidity. A scattered late day thunderstorm in a few spots. Most areas stay dry. High: 86 to 91. Light winds.

Tonight: Warm and humid with areas of fog and low clouds. Lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Wednesday:  Sunny, hot and humid.  Highs in the 90s. Heat Index around 100!

Thursday:  Hazy, hot and very humid. A line of thunderstorms invading at night. Highs in the 90s. Some upper 80s for beach areas.

Friday: Early showers moving out. Developing sun and warming again. Highs 85 to 90.

Saturday:  Mostly sunny. Highs 85 to 90.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny. Highs 85 to 90.

Monday: Sun and a few clouds. 80s shoreline to around 90 inland.

Tuesday:  Rising thunder threat for the afternoon. Highs 85 to 90.
