Everyday MVP Isabella Papa celebrates all kids birthdays

(WTNH)–  Every week News8 and Frontier Communications celebrate kids in CT communities who show great Minds, Values and Promise. Isabella Papa, of Avon, is this week’s Everyday MVP for her passion to let every kid feel celebrated on their birthdays.

Isabella wondered by toy collections for the Holiday Season weren’t available all year around. The second grader realized underprivileged kids might not be able to celebrate their birthdays.

So Isabella’s Blizzard Parties began. Isabella, her friends, family, and Daisy Troops, began to collect and donate party supplies. They assembled them into gift bags, blue for boys, and pink for girls, then dropped them off at local food pantries.

Isabella’s grandmother made a children’s book about the project. The family self-published the book and it’s now available in local libraries and schools.

If you know an Everyday MVP kid like Isabella, nominate them today!
