Ex Bridgeport Principal May Lose Teaching License Amid Abuse Claims

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A former Bridgeport principal who was caught on camera dragging kindergarten children down the school hallway may lose her teaching license.

Carmen Perez Dickson was the principal at the Tisdale School. She was suspended and then resigned after the video came to light. The incidents occurred in February and March of 2012.

School staff also accused her of hitting children.

There will be more hearings on Thursday, according to The Connecticut Post. Dickson’s lawyer is arguing she handled the situation appropriately.
