Bridgeport Police looking for suspects in Denver Avenue shooting

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Bridgeport Police are looking for suspects in a drive-by shooting late Thursday night.

Police tell news 8 the shooting took place at Denver Avenue and Howard Place.

According to police, a 24 year-old was shot twice in the right arm.  Before the shooting, the victim’s friends told him to watch out for a suspicious car in the area.

Moments later, the victim was shot and the shooter sped away in a black or dark blue Buick LeSabre. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Bridgeport Police are asking for the public’s help to find the shooter.
