KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH) — A Killingly man is facing multiple drug charges, including operating a drug factory, after search warrants were conducted at his home on Friday morning.
Police say 56-year-old Dwayne Wiggins used his Cottage Street apartment to store, process, and sell crack cocaine. They say 14 grams of prepackaged crack cocaine, 20 grams of prescribed methadone out of the original container, drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of cash were found in the apartment.
Along with operating a drug factory, Wiggins is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, illegal distribution of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school zone, and possession of prescription narcotics out of original container. His bond was set at $50,000 and he’s due in Danielson Superior Court on September 2.
