HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A loaded handgun, 66 grams of cocaine, and 30 Oxycodone pills were found during a traffic stop in Hartford on Thursday evening, according to authorities.
Police say officers pulled over 32-year-old John Drummond, of Hartford, near 20 Niles Street. They say officers saw him shove something in his waistband, and a pat down turned up the drugs.
The Orange Street man, a parolee, is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to the Department of Correction.
