Windham man arrested after cocaine found during traffic stop

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (WTNH) — An 18-year-old Windham man was arrested in Willimantic on Friday morning after police say a traffic stop turned up cocaine.

According to authorities, Jeremy Lee McGeowan was arrested after 12 grams of cocaine were found hidden in the car.

The Windham Center Road man is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating under suspension. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on August 24.
