Crews repair gas leak in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Repair crews have responded to a gas leak in Hartford Monday morning.

Connecticut Natural Gas reports that a third party contractor struck the gas line at 53 Hungerford Street earlier this morning.

Connecticut Natural Gas crews responded to the scene and have been working on the repairs. A portion of the road is closed.

There is no word on when the repairs will be completed.

There were no evacuations and no one was hurt from the gas leak.
