TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) – New information on a three-alarm fire at a factory on Church Street in Torrington.

The fire department told News 8 a storage area with 20 bales of rolled-up foam for carpeting caught fire. That’s when flames broke out Sunday night.

It took about three hours to put out the fire. The business will be back open Monday but the storage facility is closed.

Firefighters and environmental experts will be back at the factory Monday. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
