North Branford police searching for hit-and-run driver

NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — North Branford police are searching for a hit-and-run driver that struck a pedestrian Sunday night.
According to police, a woman was struck near 248 Branford Road around 8:50 p.m. Sunday night. Officers said a woman was hit, but the driver immediately fled from the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her identity, and the extent of her injuries have not been released.
