South Windsor man accused of forgery

South Windsor, Conn. (WTNH)- A worker at a store in South Windsor had a feeling the eight hundred dollar bills a customer tried to use to buy ipods were bogus and it turns out that hunch was right on the money.

The worker flagged down a South Windsor police officer on Evergreen Walk last Thursday with his concerns about the suspicious transaction.

The officer determined the bills in question were bogus and later arrested 22 year old Jonathan Cruz of Brooklyn, New York on a charge of first degree forgery.
