Burlington lemonade stand raising money for St. Francis Cancer Center

BURLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Three children are raising money for the St. Francis Cancer Center by setting up a lemonade stand in Burlington.

“We’ve been doing this lemonade stand for the past five years and we’ve raised $5,700 in the past four years for St. Francis Cancer Care Center with the patient care fund,” said Kathryn Bergstrom. “This year we’re hoping to raise $2,000.”

“Our grandma had treatment at the cancer care center, so we want to do it to kind of give back to them,” she said. “It’s really fun and it feels really good to give back to people.”
