Four under arrest in Hartford drug bust

Hartford, Conn. (WTNH)- An undercover narcotics investigation by the Hartford police department’s Vice and Narcotics division has led to the arrest of four people. The sting was conducted after police received several complaints from people in the Babcock Street area about the open sale of drugs.

The four suspects were picked up following a surveillance operation in the area by police. More than 450 bags of heroin and about 30 thousand dollars in cash was seized in the bust. 34 year old Jahaira Martinez of Hartford is now charged with possession of narcotics and possession with intent to sell.

50 year old Robin Day of Plantsville is charged with possession of narcotics. 23 year old Reinardo Otero of New Britain was arrested on an existing warrant and 22 year old Raymond Sanders of Hartford faces charges that include possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics and sale of narcotics within 15 hundred feet of a school.
