Wallingford Mayoral race gets independent candidate

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH)  –   Donald Robert Kennedy has announced his candidacy as an independent candidate for Mayor of Wallingford after petitioning himself onto the ballot.

Kennedy says he is frustrated with the cost of living in Connecticut and taxes in Wallingford.   He says his platford is freeze taxes, reengineer and cut expenses.  His number one priority will be to reduce the cost of running th town by controlling expenses through automation and outsourcing.

Kennedy moved to Wallingford from Georgia more than four years ago to be closer to family after he retired as a CIO / COO and executive consultant and says he can use his experience to improve and modernize the town.
