Hollywood Minute: Mariah Carey Writes a Children’s Book, Paula Deen Puts on Her Dancing Shoes

(WTNH) — Celebrity chef Paula Deen’s reportedly putting down the utensils and slipping on her dancing shoes! According to E News, Paula has joined the cast of dancing with the stars. The next season starts September 14th. This comes after news that Bindi Irwin, daughter of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, is also among the cast members. ABC hasn’t confirmed that Deen is part of the cast.

All Mariah Carey wants for Christmas is her new book under the tree! The pop star has written a children’s book based on her 1994 hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The book tells the story of a little girl who wants a puppy for Christmas. You can read it for yourself on November 10th.

Two of Hollywood’s hottest talents are coming together. Jennifer Lawrence tells The New York Times she’s working on a screenplay with Amy Schumer. According to the “Hunger Games” star, the two will play sisters in the comedy as well.
