Victoria’s Secret worker assaulted during theft

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)  –  A worker at Victoria’s Secret in Milford was assaulted trying to prevent a theft from the store.  The two people involved have been arrested.

Police have charged 31 year old Allen Taylor of West Haven with robbery 3rd, larceny 6th, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit larceny, and failure to appear 2nd.  32 year old Sharra Carter of New Haven is charged with larceny 6th, conspiracy to commit larceny, conspiracy to commit robbery, and failure to appear 2nd.

Police say they were called to the store at 1201 Boston Post Road at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday on a theft of just under $100 worth of merchandise during which a loss prevention agent was struck several times with an open hand and scratched several times.   Police arrested the pair at another business on New Haven Avenue.
