New Haven Migration Festival Time!

The New Haven Migration Festival is coming up and this year it will be bigger and better than ever!  The festival is always a highlight of the bird and butterfly enthusiast community’s year, but this year the festival will be combined with the Northeast Waterfowl Festival into a two-day event at Lighthouse Point Park on September 19th and 20th.  For more information on the event, please see:


Horizon wings will return this year.  In past years they have featured their spectacular Bald Eagle Atka or their Golden Eagle Chrysos.  Which one will they bring this year!

Brian Bradley from Skyhunters in Flight will be returning again this year on Sunday and seeing his spectacular bird up close is always a thrilling experience!  Above, Brian’s hybrid Gyrfalcon wows the crowd as it flies just above the heads of the crowd at Lighthouse Point at last year’s festival.  Below, Brian and his Eurasian Eagle Owl thrill the crowd.
