Suspect Wanted in Bridgeport Carjacking at Gunpoint

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Bridgeport police are looking for a suspect who they say carjacked a man at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

The victim told police he was outside of his wife’s vehicle on Wood Avenue when a car pulled around his and parked up ahead.

Police say the suspect, a man the victims known as ‘Boobie,’ jumped out of the car and asked about money that the victim may owe him.

The victim told police that he said that he didn’t owe him money and that’s when they say the suspect, ‘Boobie,’ removed a handgun from his waistband.

Police say the victim punched the suspect and ran away. They say the suspect ran after him and fired a couple shots and then hopped into the victim’s wife’s car and drove away in it.

Bridgeport police are still looking for the suspect and the stolen vehicle, described as a gray Pontiac 4-door sedan.
