Wanted Hartford teen arrested after stolen gun found in car

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A 19-year-old Hartford man was arrested Friday after police say they found a stolen gun in his car during a traffic stop.

According to officials, officers pulled over Francisco Zandoval-Vasquez in the area of 120 Edgewood Street around 6 p.m. They say a stolen pistol was found in the passenger compartment of the car. Police also had an outstanding warrant for Zandoval-Vasquez’s arrest.

The Clark Street man is charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a pistol without a permit, carrying a dangerous weapon, weapons in a motor vehicle, and other crimes.
