Cromwell High School football members under investigation for hazing

CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) — Some members of the Cromwell High School football team are under investigation after the school district learned of a possible hazing incident.

Superintendent of Schools Paula M. Talty says authorities were contacted immediately after the school district recently learned of an incident involving some members of the football team. She says authorities are now investigating.

Due to the ongoing investigation, Talty said she was unable to give details, but did say the school district does not tolerate harassment or any inappropriate conduct toward students.

She says proper actions will be taken following the investigation if they learn that any student has been harassed.
