Hartford police make heroin and firearm arrest

Cash, heroin packaging, and firearms obtained by Hartford Police at 1305 Main St.

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hartford detective from the Vice and Narcotics unit, with the assistance from FBI task force and the Hartford Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on the second floor of 1305 Main St where a person was arrested for storing illegal firearms and selling illegal narcotics.

A search of the apartment on Tuesday revealed two firearms, cash and a large amount of packaged heroin, according to police.

The occupant of the apartment, 29-year-old Lamarre Luna, was placed under arrest and charged with risk of injury on two counts, possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell 1500 feet from a school, possession with intent to sell narcotics, and illegal storage of firearms with minors.
