Man dies after being electrocuted at indoor amusement park

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — An electrician has died after being electrocuted at Nomad’s Adventure Quest in South Windsor.

The victim, who’s name is not yet being released, had been removing light fixtures when he sustained an electrical shock that caused him to fall off a platform.

Nomad’s employees believed that power had been shut off to the fixture. Emergency crews alerted Eversource Power to shut down all power to the building to ensure the safety of the rescuers and others in the building.

The victim was taken to Manchester Memorial Hospital where he died.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been called in to assist with the investigation into how the man was electrocuted,
