FRANKLIN, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police are investigating what they’re describing as an untimely death on Pond Road in Franklin.

Just before 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Troopers responded to Pond Road on a report of a body being found in the area. Connecticut State Police confirmed to News 8 that the body discovered is being investigated as an untimely death, and they believe it is most likely a medical issue.

No other information has been released, including the person’s identity, sex, or age. Preliminary investigation is underway.
