Hiker falls at Hubbard Park in Meriden

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A man was injured after he fell while hiking at Hubbard Park Wednesday night.

According to police, the man was hiking at Hubbard Park in Meriden near Castle Craig when he fell off of the rocks. Officials say he was unconscious when the call came in just before 7:30 p.m., but is now conscious and talking.

Meriden Fire Department emergency crews responded to the scene. LifeStar responded to transport the man to the hospital.

No additional information on injuries were immediately available.
