Man arrested with 30 bags of heroin in Killingly drug bust

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH) — A routine traffic stop Thursday saw police seize 30 bags of heroin from the car of a Brooklyn man.

State Police say 30-year-old Brian Pomposelli committed a traffic violation while on Ballouville Road and was pulled over while he attempted to turn onto I-395 at exit 94.

Pomposelli gave troopers permission to search his car, in which they discovered the bags of heroin hidden in the dashboard.

He was arrested without incident and taken to the Troop D Danielson Barracks where he was charged with heroin possession. He was released on $1,000 surety bond and will be back in Danielson Superior Court on Sept. 17.
