Police Investigate Armed ATM Robbery

WINDHAM, Conn. (WTNH) — State Troopers are investigating after a man robbed people at an ATM armed with a knife. It happened just after midnight on September 3rd.

Troopers responded to the scene of the Bank of America ATM located in the shopping center at 351 Boston Post Road.  The victims told them that a white man, around 5’10” with short black hair held them up with a knife-type instrument.  One of the victims had to be treated by EMS on the scene after sustaining minor injuries.

Police say the man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants and got away on a black bicycle down Boston Post Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call Troop K at 860-465-5400. All calls will be kept confidential.
