Tips for getting students ready for class

(WTNH)– Many of your little ones are heading back to school this week. So we went to find out some tips to get students ready for class.

Educators say get them in a routine. Post a Calendar and make sure you talk with their teachers to set goals. Then relay those goals to your child.

“Letting the student know that the parent is going to be present in their academic life,” said Michelle Sierau, Dir. Of Operations, Smart Start Education.

There are a number of other tips that will make it a great school year for your child coming up tonight on News 8 at 5 p.m.
