Body pulled from Brodie Pond in New Hartford

NEW HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A body has been pulled from the water of Brodie Pond in New Hartford Sunday night.

Police were called to Brodie Pond on West Hill Road in New Hartford at 5:20 p.m. for a report of a body in the water. When they arrived, police located the female victim in the pond. EMS responded to the scene where they pronounced the victim dead.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine cause and manner of death, as well as the identification of the victim.
