Man injured in Hamden shooting

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A 43-year-old man was shot in Hamden early on Sunday morning.

Police say the victim was crossing Morse Street near Columbus Street when gunfire erupted around 3 a.m. They say he was shot in both legs and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

According to officials, at least three people fired rounds in the incident. They’re investigating to see if anyone else was shot.
