Bridgeport Man Arrested After Leading Police on Chase

BRIDGEPORT,Conn. (WTNH)- Bridgeport police arrested a driver after he lead them on a chase, and then took off on foot.

It started around 1PM on Sept. 16 along I-95 South. Police say an officer saw a car speeding down the highway, but when he signaled for the driver to stop, he just started accelerating, leading the officer on a chase.

Police say the driver eventually came to a stop after getting on Route 25 Northbound, and then getting off Exit 2, and hitting a curb on Milne Street. But then Police say the driver took off on foot.

Police eventually found the suspect hiding in a home, after forcing himself in. Police arrested 33-year-old Pablo Pagan faces a number of charges.
