Daryl Janney talks about his debut romance novel “Nineteen”

(WTNH) — Marysol sat down with Daryl Janney to talk about his debut novel “Nineteen.” Daryl began to focus on promoting his career as a writer after a recent boggy boarding  accident in North Carolina, which put him in a neck brace.

Daryl says that his novel “Nineteen” shares a personal perspective that has an emotional impact on those who read it. Nineteen is book of truth about a misunderstood profession and is a story that has changed lives.

Daryl has already begun working on the sequel to “Nineteen” which will be titled “Twenty.”

 

Background Information on Daryl Janney

Daryl is a married writer and father of seven children. He was born on November 21, 1962 in Moorestown, NJ but his family moved to Illinois when he was just three years old. When Daryl turned 17 he left home to attend Monmouth College in Monmouth, IL. In the fall of his sophomore year, Daryl left college and headed to New York City.

After two years of working as a professional model he returned to school at Boston University and obtained a degree in English literature with Distinction. In the past Daryl has also worked as a carpenter and contractor. He enjoys spending time with his wife, watching his children grow and his remaining time is spent writing, reading and sleeping.
