Hartford man arrested for threatening Mayor Segarra

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hartford man has been arrested after police say he threatened to kill Mayor Pedro Segarra at City Hall on Thursday morning.

Hartford Deputy Chief Brian Foley said police arrested 55-year-old Anthony Halloway at Hartford City Hall on Thursday after he allegedly made a statement implying he wanted to kill Mayor Segarra. Halloway was charged with breach of peace for threatening and disruptive actions.

Foley said Halloway was arrested without incident.
