Stratford Fire Department knocks down Route 110 car fire

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A car fire near the Sikorsky Aircraft headquarters was knocked down by fire fighters early Thursday morning.

Stratford Fire responded to a call of a car fire on Route 110 at 1 a.m.

Report It! video shows the fire had completely engulfed the car.

Fire officials say the fire was put out quickly and there were no injuries to the occupants of the car. They did not release how many people were in the car at the time of the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
