NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — It’s hard to believe it’s already mid-September. Where has the time gone?
Everyone is still enjoying time outdoors though. The pictures prove it. Between all the sun rises and sun sets. The dogs even taking the time to enjoy the weather by playing on the beach or in the water.
Many flowers are still in full bloom. But in case you haven’t noticed, fall is coming. You’ve been sending us pictures of the leaves changing color and the pumpkins.
The bears are still trying to get their paws on those bird feeders. This week you even sent us pictures of bobcats and roosters in your yard.
Quite a few celebrations this week from a soccer win to Rich’s 87th birthday. Louie celebrated his 90th birthday. Earlier in the week we also celebrated National Grandparent’s Day, with many of you sending in photos of your parents and grandparents.
But over the last week it was also about the 14th anniversary of September 11th. Many people across Connecticut commemorated the day by holding memorial services, remembering those who died in the terror attacks. Many school kids also showed their appreciation to our first responders and pride to be an American.
