Woman killed in crash on Route 6 in Andover

ANDOVER, Conn. (WTNH) — A woman is dead after an early morning crash on Route 6 in Andover.

At about 2 a.m., Route 6 was closed in the area of Burnap Brook Road on the report of a two-car crash.

According to the accident report, a Toyota Celica was driving east on Route 6 when it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling in the opposite direction.

The operator of the Toyota, 30-year-old Amber Buczko, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both the driver and the passenger of the Chevrolet were transported to Windham Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The road has since reopened.
