Hiker injured in Meriden’s Hubbard Park


MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials with Lifestar tell News 8 that they were dispatched to Meriden’s Hubbard Park to assist with an injured hiker.

Lifestar originally received the call around 7:00 pm Wednesday night and took off for the park at 7:16. The hiker is believed to have fallen and sustained a head injury.

Police and fire crews were on the scene in the park’s parking lot. Lifestar left the scene with no patient inside. There is no word on the condition of that hiker.
