Prostitution & Drug Bust

Groton, Conn. (WTNH) – State Police joined forces with the Groton Town Police Department to investigated suspected prostitution and drug trafficking in the town. Police were looking specifically at local hotels they believed it was all happening in. The investigation focused on suspected prostitutes advertising services on in the Groton Connecticut area.

Authorities arrested ten people for prostitution, promoting prostitution and drug trafficking. Six people face charges of prostitution, four people face charges of promoting prostitution one of which is also facing drug charges. Those arrested were from Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York.
