Man robs Bridgeport salon at gunpoint

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a Bridgeport salon at gunpoint on Sunday night.

Bridgeport police were called to Paradise Beauty Salon at 763 State Street just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of a robbery. Officers say no one was injured, just shaken up. Victims told police the suspect walked into the salon, showed a gun, and ordered everyone to the back of the building.

The suspect is described as a 5’11” Hispanic male, with a thin/medium build and brown eyes. He was wearing a fake black beard, blue jeans, a black leather jacket, a dark hooded shirt, and dark sneakers with white laces. Police say once the suspect left the salon, a victim discovered $200 in cash and a gold iPhone 6S missing.

Police were unable to locate the suspect. Anyone with information on this incident should contact police at (203)581-5201.
